Brookdale is a senior living community that offers independent living, personalized assisted living and Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
The Manteca facility will play host to Thursday’s Senior Luncheon at the St. Anthony’s parish gymnasium at the corner at North Fremont and Sutter streets.
Sr. Ann Venita and her Ministry of Caring are once again coordinating this special Christmas event, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All seniors are invited regardless of religious affiliations.
Brookdale’s efforts will make possible the catered meal to mark the occasion.
Those attending can also enjoy live entertainment with music, tap dancing by the Manteca Senior Center group and Christmas caroling performed by youngsters at nearby St. Anthony’s School.
Some of the older students will double servers, attending to those from such places as St. Jude’s Care Center, Brookdale Manteca, Prestige Senior Living, Valley CAPS, and Almond Blossom Estates Mobil Home, to name a few.
