Thirty years ago Tubbs& Son Electric claimed the 1986 American Softball Association’s National Fastpitch Championship.
What better reason for a 30-year reunion?
Not only has John Tubbs organized such an event but he’s arranged to have the celebration — and pre-game recognition — take place at the Stockton Ports game on Saturday, Sept 3, at the Banner Island ballpark at 404 Fremont St. in Stockton.
Championship team players and one guest are free while additional players and people are $28 each. That covers the game ticket, chicken, hot dogs, coleslaw, baked beans, soda and water and off course fun memories.
Contact John Tubbs at 239.1397 at work or 239.3737 at home for tickets.
The group will gather in the parking lot at 5 p.m. Sept. 3. There is an additional charge for parking.
