It’s not every day that $20 buys you the chance to get the full red carpet treatment.

Thanks to the generosity of US Bank, the Manteca Rotary and the Manteca Mural Society are hosting a raffle fundraiser for a VIP ticket package to a Sacramento Kings game against the Oklahoma City Thunder – coached by 2010 NBA Coach of the Year and East Union alum Scott Brooks – complete with a limo ride to and from the game.

Only $20 buys a ticket for the drawing, while three tickets are available for $50.

The Kings are currently in negotiations with both the National Basketball Association and the City of Anaheim about possibly relocating at the end of the season – perhaps – making this one of the last chances to catch a game at the recently named Power Balance Pavillion.

Brooks – who won an NBA championship with the Houston Rockets during his career – took the Thunder to their first NBA playoff appearance last season, and scored a win in the first game of the first round against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers eventually beat the Thunder in the Series.

The individual courtside tickets are valued at $900 each, said Tom Wilson of both the Manteca Rotary and the Manteca Mural Society.

Raffle tickets can be purchased by contacting Norm Knodt, Ed’s Rockery at 239-3155 and Raymus Homes: The Next Generation at 824-3080.
