COPS SHOP FOR KIDS
Manteca police officers through their Manteca Peace Officers Association (MPOA) will be Christmas shopping for needy children again this year with some $5,000 to spend. They are asking members of the public to join them on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. Manteca businessman Julian Holifield is joining Manteca officers Armen Avakian and David Bright who will be among 15 to 20 officers and their families armed with Christmas wish lists from the Ray of Hope.
