The Lathrop City Council’s regular meetings on the first and third Monday of the month will be rebroadcasted on the Tuesday after each meeting at 7 p.m. The council members, at their most recent meeting, also decided to continue the rebroadcasting of the regular meetings on Wednesdays at noon. Council meetings are broadcasted live on Cable Channel 97. In December, the council voted to change its regular meetings from every first and third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. to the first and third Monday of each month. That move necessitated the change in the rebroadcasting schedule to Tuesday at 7 p.m. However, at the last meeting, the council decided to also keep the originally scheduled rebroadcasting date on Wednesdays at noon. The airing of the taped council meetings is for the benefit of residents who, due to time constraints and other reasons, cannot attend the regular meetings at City Hall.

Two council meetings coming up have been rescheduled as well because both happen to fall on national holidays. The January 18 meeting, which falls on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, has been moved to Jan. 25. The meeting scheduled on Monday, Feb. 15, Presidents’ Day and also a national holiday, will be held on Monday, Feb. 22. Both rescheduled meetings will be held at the same time at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Lathrop City Hall, 390 Towne Centre Drive.
