LATHROP – A 34-year-old woman was a stabbed to death in the early morning on Wednesday at a home in the 500 block of Bramblewood Avenue.
Sherene Singh was found dead by Lathrop Police deputies in an upstairs bedroom where medics pronounced her dead on the scene.
Police had responded to a 911 call when they were confronted with a man who lived in the home who had a knife in his possession. The deputies were able to subdue him and take him into custody as the suspect.
