A burglary attempt on the west side of Veritas School in the early hours Friday morning prompted a 911 call to Manteca Police.  

Someone attempted to kick in a front door in the Pagola Avenue neighborhood.

It was similar to an incident on Thursday where a man was seen jumping a fence in the neighborhood east of the school on Sole Villain Lane.

During a 37-hour period ending Friday at 1 p.m. there were 11 auto burglaries, two stolen vehicles, and one residential burglary reported in Manteca.

The auto burglaries occurred in the 800 block of Marion Street, 1200 block of South Main Street, 800 block West Atherton Drive, 1900 block of Buena Vista Drive, 200 block of Wawona Street, 2100 block of Sanctuary Way, 1900 block of North Union Road, 1300 block of Parkview Street, 1000 block of North Main Street, 1000 block of Milo Candini Drive, and in the 1000 block of North Main Street.

The residential burglary occurred in the 1200 block of Locust Avenue. The vehicles were taken from 422 N. Walnut Ave and the 1500 block of Daniels Street.
