Drive-by shooting in neighborhoods

Two residential drive-by shootings occurred during the overnight hours Friday night and into Saturday morning with no one injured, Manteca Police said.

At 10 p.m. a man in the 1400 block of Spindrift Way told officers that he had heard four shots outside his home.  One went through the front window and lodged into a front room wall.

Bullet holes were found in his 1995 Ford Mustang parked in front of his home with the side door and the windshield targeted.

Shortly after midnight another resident called police from the 800 block of Santa Rosa Court saying he had heard five to six gun shots and saw a red vehicle leaving the neighborhood.  His white Ford Tarus had five bullet holes in the left side of the vehicle.
