Some 2,000 marijuana plants were confiscated from three different locations in Lathrop Friday morning leading to the arrest of two men.

Mot-Trung Tran, 55, and Cam Luc, 46, were arrested for alleged marijuana cultivation and related charges. They were transported to the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp. Tran is being held in lieu of $120,000 bail. Luc is held without bail on a Border Patrol hold. Both will appear at the Stockton Courthouse on Tuesday, March 11, at 1:30 p.m.

Sheriff’s spokesman Les Garcia said deputies from the San Joaquin County Metropolitan Narcotics Task Force with assistance from the Stockton Police Department’s SWAT team executed three search warrants at homes located in the 16500 block of Upper Pasture Way, the 1000 block of Comet Lane and the 700 block of Village Avenue.

Both men were listed as transients, deputies said.
