Lathrop detectives arrested Esteban Diaz, at his Modesto home Thursday morning, for alleged indecent exposure to four young girls over the past year near two elementary schools.

Diaz was booked into San Joaquin County Jail. He posted the $50,000 bail and was released Thursday afternoon, according to Lathrop Police Services.

The first incident reportedly occurred in December of last year in the 400 block of J Street near Lathrop Elementary School where he allegedly exposed himself to two young girls walking home from school between 3:15 and 4 p.m.

The second incident was Sept. 9 of this year near the intersection of St. Andrews and Southport avenues near Joseph Widmer Elementary School in the same time period.

Diaz is scheduled to appear at the Stockton Courthouse on Oct. 11 to appear before a judge in the San Joaquin County Superior Court.
