A 58-year-old Manteca man was arrested Wednesday morning on a host of child sexual abuse charges. 

Russell Wayne Otto is currently being held at the San Joaquin County Jail on charges of lewd acts upon a child, forcible lewd acts upon a child, continued sexual abuse of a child and oral copulation. All of charges pertain to acts committed upon somebody younger than the age of 14. 

Otto is currently being held on $3.35 million bail and is set to appear in the Manteca Branch of the San Joaquin County Superior Court on Tuesday, July 29 at 1:25 p.m. 

It’s the second time in as many days that somebody locally has been arrested and charged with a sex crime against a child. On Thursday morning two kids walking to Ripon High School reported a man on the bike bridge over Highway 99 that was exposing himself to students. Later that day a resident spotted a man matching the description that was distributed by the Ripon Police Department on the Ripon High School Campus. 

It is there that they arrested 47-year-old Raymond Graves – currently facing three counts of indecent exposure and annoying or molesting a child and one count of indecent exposure with special circumstances. He’s being held at the San Joaquin County Jail on $72,000 bail and is set to appear in the Manteca branch of the San Joaquin County Superior Court on Monday, July 28 at 8:30 a.m.
