LATHROP — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding the man they believe abducted a one-year-old girl they say was taken Sunday night.

The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert after officials said Jacqueline Martinez was abducted around 9:33 p.m. Sunday.

The suspect in the case has been identified as 30-year-old Johnathon Martinez. The girl was received unharmed at her grandparents’ home in San Lorenzo on Monday while Martinez’s 1989 Silver GMC Yukon was found abandoned in Pleasanton.
