The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office has stated it has found no criminal intent or behavior due to insufficient evidence to charge a Ripon mom, Jennifer Tyson, with any crime relating to vandalism to cars in the Ripon community on the night of June 24.
The original news story told of teen vandals who did thousands of dollars of damage throughout the community with officers locating the alleged responsibles at the Tyson home.
Deputy District Attorney Robert Himelblau said his office normally does not address decisions not to file charges brought by police unless there has been prior independent press coverage.
“Based on your story of July 2, which caused other press inquiries, this office has issued the statement above,” he wrote.
