RIPON – All residents are invited to attend a community-wide prayer service to commemorate the 2012 National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 3, at 7 p.m., hosted by the First Christian Reformed Church, 305 Boesch Drive, Ripon.

Local pastors will be leading in prayers for our city, emergency services, schools, the family, crops and industry and the state and nation.

This year, the men’s choral group, Voices for the King, will join the observance and minister in music throughout the service. Free childcare for infants and toddlers will be available and refreshments will be served following the service.
