The District final will be held on March 13 and the winner will deliver his/her speech at the Rotary District 5220 Convention to be held in Lake Tahoe on May 1.

Second place and a check for $100 was awarded to Travis Howe. Tommy Klingenfuss rounded out the competition and went home with a check for $75 for his third place effort. The contest was also attended by East Union teacher Bob Prichard.
