Last month, Clara Schmiedt was named senior director of secondary education for the Manteca Unified School District.
In filling the post made available when Bob Lee accepted an assistant superintendent post at Rocklin Unified, Schmiedt, in turn, left open a position at Weston Ranch High.
Trustees on Tuesday will look to fill the principal vacancy at Weston Ranch High along with that at Stella Brockman School.
The former principal there Diane Medeiros has moved to the Lindbergh Educational Center, taking over for retired principal Howard Holtsman.
The two positions along with an elementary school vice principal and a high school assistant principal – both positions to be determined – will be discussed during the closed session.
The open session begins at 7 p.m. in the Administration Building, 2271 W. Louise Ave.
The items on the agenda include:
• The board accepting a monetary donation from Soroptimist of Manteca.
• Trustees are scheduled to appoint members to the committee in charge of naming the Shasta and Neil Hafley multi-purpose buildings.
• The board could award a contract for the all-weather track project at Sierra High.
• Trustees will consider accepting a substantial completion of contract for the swimming pool at Lathrop High.
• The board will also hear a staff report on the Sequoia Annex and Lathrop Annex.
