The California Standards Test is part of the Standardized Testing and Reporting or STAR.

The state exam was administered last spring, with several students from the Manteca Unified School District scoring a perfect 600 in their respective subject areas.

The CST consists of four different tests: Social Science, Science, Math and English.

On Monday, Jason Messer is scheduled to recognize those students in his superintendent’s reports during the 7 p.m. open session.

Manteca High, for example, boasts five students who scored 600 – Derek Benson, Zorana Cachu, Brooke Mejorado, Kenneth Williams and Josh Nkwocha.

Other agenda items include:

•The superintendent will provide recognition of grant funding for Sierra High to participate in the model program and assessment development project and recognition of the Program of Excellence Award.

•The board could OK the requests of high school overnight field trips.

•Trustees will consider approving the naming of the Shasta School multi-purpose building as recommended by an appointed five-member committee.

•The board could approve the installation of an air monitoring station at Sierra High.

•Trustees will also consider approving the City of Stockton’s conditional water service agreement.
