The old administration building of the Manteca Unified School District could soon accommodate another business or professional service.
At Tuesday’s meeting, the school board could give administration the direction to do just that as another avenue of potential revenue.
Not too long ago, Manteca Unified leased part of the old building – once the hub of the district prior to moving into the three-story facility – to a Lathrop credit union.
The open session is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the district office, 2271 W. Louise Ave., Manteca.
In other agenda items:
•The board will discuss its goals for the 2010-11 school year.
•Trustees will talk about the annual membership involving the California School Boards Association.
•The board could give its OK on expanding Environmental Literacy as a supplemental curriculum for second- through sixth- grade students along with the high school Earth Science.
•Trustees will also discuss the district’s participation in the Pacific Gas and Electric Peak Day Pricing Program.
