MANTECA TOASTMASTERS STARTING UP
: Event is free to the public.

Manteca Toastmasters is a new evening Toastmasters club starting up in Manteca. They invite businesses and residents of Manteca and surrounding cities to come to a Toastmasters Demonstration Meeting where you can meet members and watch award-winning speaker David Goad present a model inspirational speech.

THEATRE AUDITIONS

JUNGLE BOOK AUDITIONS: Cornerstone Community Theater is holding auditions for Disney’s “The Jungle Book”. Kids in third through eighth grade can sign up to audition on June 11 or June 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cornerstone, 17900 Comconex Road, Manteca. RECREATION CLASS

FLY FISHING BASICS
: The Ripon Parks and Recreation Department is offering basic fly fishing lessons for ages 10 and up. Fill out the registration form and return it to City Hall at least one week prior to the Saturday, June 16, session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stouffer Park. The cost is $45 per person.

.If you have gear, please bring it. Limited gear will be available. The session will cover what you need to know to get started in fly fishing including gear, flies, rods, reels, leaders and stream tactics.

MJC YOUTH SOCCER CAM
P: Modesto Junior College will be offering a Summer Soccer Camp for youth from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, July 23 through Thursday, July 26 at the MJC Soccer Field on West Campus, 2201 Blue Gum Ave.
