Five juniors are vying for queen of Manteca High’s Winterfest.
The winner will be announced Friday during half-time of the Valley Oak League boys varsity basketball game between the Buffaloes and visiting Lathrop High.
Tip-off is 7 p.m.
The Winterfest queen candidates are Rochelle Perez, Sharon Washington, Dallas Mould, Lauren Monton and Vanessa Vivit.
The royal court will also include three freshman girls in the running for princess – Ashley Gase, Mikayla Hasal and Elani Freeman.
Winterfest continues to be an ongoing tradition at Manteca High.
