A resolution unanimously approved by the Manteca Unified School District Board of Education recognizes and appreciates “all veterans and their families for their contributions for the freedoms and way of life benefited by all in the United States of America.” The resolution also “encourages schools to participate in appropriate activities to honor the dedication and sacrifices of our country’s veterans during the week of Veterans Day.”
