How far along? The update for this Measure ‘M’ project will be provided at Monday’s Ripon Unified school board meet in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave.

The open session begins at 7 p.m.

Project Manager Deanna Shirlock from Escalon-based CT Brayton & Sons, Inc. is scheduled to speak on the work at Colony Oak.

Included are that of site improvements, building exteriors, lab & restrooms buildings, and the classrooms.

The plan calls for students to begin moving into the new classrooms in the coming weeks.

In other agenda items:

  • Ripon High Principal Keith Rangel along with Bernice de Witte and Alanna Bartels will acknowledge Sept. 24 through 28 as RHS Suicide Prevention Week.
  • Director of Curriculum and Categorical Programs Kathy Coleman will conduct a presentation on the enrollment data from the last three years. She’ll also talk about the recent Local Control Accountability Plan Survey.
  • Chief Operation Officer Frank Jerome will look to share his report on RUSD’s unaudited actuals for Fiscal Year 2017-18 as scheduled to be approved by the state Board of Education on Sept. 15. He said that the district is ending the year with a positive financial condition.
