Half of the Manteca Unified School District students who achieved a perfect score of 600 on the California Standards Test (CST) for the 2010-2011 school year will be recognized by the Board of Education at their regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

The celebration will take place prior to the board meeting at 6:30 p.m.

The remaining students to achieve this honor will be recognized at the Nov. 15 board meeting. In all, 112 of MUSD’s students achieved a perfect score of 600 on one of the STAR subjects.

The CSTs show how well students are doing in relation to the state content standards. The CSTs include English-language and mathematics in grades two through eleven; science in grades five, eight, and nine through eleven; and history-social science in grades eight, and ten through eleven.
