WESTON RANCH – Jose Fregoso came to Weston Ranch High shortly before the start of the school year.

A graduate of UC Santa Barbara – he earned his degree there in Psychology, with masters in both Pupil Personnel Services and School Counseling from the University of La Verne – he was previously an assistant principal at Lindhurst High of the Marysville Joint Union School District.

On Wednesday, Weston Ranch High and the Weston Ranch Community will officially welcome their new principal and his family.

The reception will take place in the school cafeteria beginning at 6 p.m. Those attending will also have an opportunity to meet WRHS administration and organizations. This includes the parent volunteer groups, the community organization and local residents.

Light refreshments will be served.

Incidentally, Fregoso is the third principal in the school history. Clara Schmiedt, who was the previous principal, left to become senior director of secondary education.

Fregoso and his wife, Amy, have four children.
