The pumpkin patch and corn maze at Manteca Unified’s school farm is open every Friday and Saturday for the exception of Halloween during October.

The facility located behind the district office complex at 2271 W. Louise Ave., Manteca (the entrance is through the district complex parking lot), officially opens today from 1:30 p.m. to dusk.

The pumpkin patch along with the two corn mazes – a project of the district ag students, with the corn maze designed specifically for children age 10 and under – is scheduled to open every Friday during this time.

The Saturday hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost is $3 for youngsters age 2 and older. Those 1 and younger will be admitted free.

Pumpkins and some of the various activities could cost extra.

Among the activities will be a costume contest from noon to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

In addition, youngsters can enjoy arts and crafts along with a petting zoo, scavenger hunt, face painting, and pumpkin carving, to name a few.
