The following programs are taking place at Stockton-San Joaquin County Library branches in the South County:

EXTREME SCIENCE MAGIC AT MANTECA: On Wednesday, Oct, 17, at 3 p.m., the Manteca Branch Library presents Extreme Science Magic. With an act that is a cross between mad scientist and magician, Don O’Brien makes science fun for kids. The show includes an explosion, giant rings of smoke, soap bubbles that bounce, and other amazing feats.

FROM THE RENAISSANCE TO YOUR RADIO AT RIPON: On Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m., the Ripon Memorial Library presents “From the Renaissance to Your Radio”. The Ripon High School Advanced Choir, directed by Adam Serpa, will present a diverse program of musical time travel from the solemn songs of the Renaissance to popular tunes of the present.
