It wasn’t too long ago that 50 acres along Tinnin Road were cleared, grubbed and graded.
While the site could serve as a future high school site in south Manteca, the Manteca Unified Ag Advisory Committee has some immediate plans.
Those plans and more are scheduled to be discussed at Tuesday’s 4:30 p.m. meeting at the school farm classroom, 2901 E. Louise Ave.
The Ag Advisory group will also hear an update on the school farm, the pasture project, the 1D Grant, Manteca Unified School Trust fair boosters, signage on Airport Way, and the district preshow plans.
Thus far, the committee has plans for various crops at the Tinnin Road location, with produce grown and sold at the temporary site offsetting some of the possible losses at the school farm.
