LATHROP - For his senior project, Humza Mansoor hopes to earn money to help the Manteca Community Action Program and Services projects.

The Sierra High senior is organizing a talent show this evening beginning at 7 o’clock at the Eureka Coffee and Tea in Lathrop, 249 E. Louise Ave.

The night will include entertainment and food. “I have 10 of my friends performing,” said Mansoor on Thursday.

Cost is $7.

Proceeds will go to the rehabilitation programs and services for disabled adults in southern San Joaquin County.

“Come on down and watch and see what special talents people have to amaze and entertainment you,” Mansoor said.

Since 1976, Manteca CAPS has provided a better life for hundreds of consumers. The program has done so with a staff of about 75 and an annual budget over $3 million.
