Ripon’s Weston Elementary School is staging an Elegant Edibles event to raise money for furniture for the campus’ new library.
The fundraiser takes place Saturday, Feb. 18, from 6 p.m. to midnight, in the Ripon Community Center in the 400 block of Fourth Street.
The food and spirit tasting gala is hosting fine restaurants, wineries, breweries, bakeries and businesses with some opportunities still open for vendors in the region.  Tickets are $35 per person or $40 at the door for those wishing to support the school’s needs but they must be at least 21 years old with valid identification.
Tickets are available in a limited number and are available at Medeiros Family Barber Shop at 207 South Locust Avenue or at the Weston School office on Stanley Avenue in Ripon.
Donations of raffle prizes for the event are being requested by the Weston Parent Faculty Group. Weston is asking for such items for its raffle such as sporting events, gallery and museum tickets, theater and play tickets along with goods and services such as hair and nail salons, spa treatments and restaurant gift cards.
