Manteca Unified groups perform this week

Fourteen winter band and choir concerts take place this week at Manteca Unified schools.

All concerts are free.

Tonight

•Manteca High School Band and Choir students will perform tonight at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria. There will be music by the Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble and Barbershop Quartets. The bands are directed by Anthony Dahl and the choirs are directed by Mary Monaghan.

•The choirs from East Union High School will perform tonight at 7 p.m. at the Manteca Presbyterian Church on North and Main. The concert will feature the Concert Choir, the Camerata Choir, the all-girls Bella Choir and the Men’s Choir. They will be singing in six different languages. The choirs are under the direction of Anne Talcott and Alyssa Dye (student teacher from CSUS).

Tuesday

Sierra High School’s Holiday Choir Concert is Tuesday at 7 p.m. under the direction of Daniel Talcott in the cafeteria.

•Stella Brockman will perform their Holiday Choir concert on Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. The 4th-6th grade choir will perform in the Stella Brockman Gym under the direction of Terri Richichi.

•Veritas Elementary School will have a Beginning Band Concert on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Veritas Multipurpose Room. The concert will feature 5th and 6th grade band students. They are under the direction of Melissa Manalastas.

•The George McParland Band and Choir will be performing their Winter Concert on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the McParland cafeteria. The band is directed by Robert Krueger and the choir is directed by Kristy Burch.

•The Lincoln Choir Program will be presenting its Winter Concert on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln School Cafeteria. The program features choir students in 5th through 8th grade under the direction of Miss Ehlen.

•Weston Ranch High School’s Choir and Show Choir will perform their Winter Concert on Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. It will be held in the Weston Ranch High School Theater. The choirs are under the direction of Jessica Claud.

•Lathrop Elementary School will hold their Winter Concert Tuesday at 7 p.m. Under the direction of Mike Mulidor, the 4th-6th graders who are in Beginning Band, Intermediate Band and Choir will perform the Lathrop Elementary Gym .

•The Lathrop High School Band and Choir will perform their Holiday Concert on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Lathrop High School Performing Arts Theater. The band is directed by Desiree Bugarin and the choir is directed by Elizabeth VanEerde.

Wednesday

•The Weston Ranch High School Band, Jazz and Orchestra Concert is Wednesday at 7 p.m. It will be held in the WRHS Theater. The instrumental groups are directed by Joe Barron.

Thursday

•The Golden West Bands and the Golden West/ Shasta Choirs will perform “Forever Christmas” in the gym Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The 5th-8th grade musicians are under the direction of Cindy Karim.

•The Lincoln Band Program will be presenting its Winter Concert on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. The program features band students in 5th through 8th grade under the direction of Miss Ehlen.

•Thursday at 7:00 p.m., the Brock Elliott Beginners Concert will be held in the Brock Elliott Cafeteria. It will feature students in 4th-6th grade under the direction of Melissa Manalastas.
