The final tally in the May 8 Manteca Garden Tour featured homes is six. Two business locations also have been added to the list of places where tickets can be purchased at $15 apiece.

This year’s theme is “Gardens For Generations.” Two that are included in this year’s garden tour fund-raiser are located at Woodridge Del Webb in Manteca. The rest are in the Terracina gated community, French Camp Road, Magrath Place, and Highway 99 Frontage Road just north of Lathrop Road in Manteca. The gardens run the gamut, from country flavor and cottage appeal to modern landscaping and Sierra-inspired vistas such as the one featured in one of the two homes at Del Webb whose focal point is a miniature of the Merced River cascading down boulders and rocks.

The garden tour will be held on the Saturday before Mother’s Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Other attractions, in addition to the spectacular gardens, will include drawings for many giveaway prizes. Tickets will be sold during the tour, with the drawing to be held also on the same day.

All proceeds from the tour will go to the club’s many community projects and scholarship awards. The garden tour is the club’s only major fund-raiser during the year.
