The Manteca Kindred Arts has been bringing top-notch musicians of national and international caliber to Manteca for nearly three decades. Perhaps less known is the fact the non-profit organization has been offering other entertainment options every year for the public’s gastronomical pleasure, among other things.

The latter is called The Great Options Drawing, the only fund-raiser during the year that the group conducts to keep the program going.

For this year’s Great Options, the selection includes dining excursions to a couple of dining destinations in Manteca – Ernie’s Food and Spirits at 1351 N. Main Street in the former Valley Cinema complex, and Tony and Mrs. K’s Bakery & Café at the corner of East Yosemite and Cottage avenues co-owned by siblings Artemis and Hercules Vourakis. The latter is part of Option No. 8, Dining Excursion, along with Boudin Bakery and Café in Stockton, and dinner at Red Lobster or Olive Garden either in Modesto or Stockton.

Drawing for the prizes will be held on Feb. 28. Mailed entries must be received by Saturday, Feb. 7. The drawing will be held during a reception following the 3 p.m. concert on Sat., Feb. 7, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Powers Avenue corner East North Street.

Options tickets will be available for purchase at the concert, or they may be requested by calling 209.239.1730. One need not be present to win. Tickets cost $5 each or 10 tickets for $45.

Here’s how Great Options is conducted. Read all the options offered, make your selection, and on the ticket/s write the number of your chosen selection. Write only one number on each ticket. You may mark all of your tickets for the same item you are interested in, or you can opt for a variety of selections. Tickets for each option will be drawn separately.

Mail Great Options tickets to Manteca Kindred Arts, 1545 Terracina Circle, Manteca, CA 95336.

For further details about the Great Options, call 239.1730. For more information about Kindred Arts, visit www.mantecakindredarts.com.
