One of the popular performances ever presented by the Manteca Kindred Arts – the Opus Handbell Ensemble – will take place again this season on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, North Street and Powers Avenue.

Admission at the door is $15 while those under 18 years of age are $5. Pro-rated season tickets are still available. More information is available by going to www.mantecakindredarts.com or call Don Peterson at 823-2570.

Kindred Arts organizers noted the ensemble “was a holiday show stopper for the past three seasons and it has become part of a tradition to welcome them back…  Audiences have been awestruck by their musicianship and presentation.”

The Opus Handbells have been a featured group for the past two years with the Modesto Symphony during their Holiday Pops Concert.

They will perform under the direction of Richard J. Colla.

The Manteca concert will highlight some of the elections from their new holiday CD, “An Opus Handbell Christmas.”

Opus recently presented concerts in England.
