Three Manteca Cowboy players and an 8-month-old baby girl suddenly lost their mom, Jessica Wilcox, on Thursday. Her passing was unexpected and leaves the family heartbroken. 

Wilcox was married with four children. The Lathrop resident was a devoted stay-at-home-mom and friends say her life revolved around her husband Matt, with whom she has been married to since 2003, and her family. Her friends also remember her as “the perfect example of a football mom.” Her social media accounts were full of pictures of her sons and daughter Miley. 

She was incredibly proud of her three boys playing for the Cowboys and she rarely missed a practice or a game.
