Army Pfc. Kenneth C. Palmer has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Palmer is the son of Steve Palmer of Modesto.

Paulino is the daughter of Loida Paulino of Lathrop and niece of David Barron of Leesburg, Va.
