Italian Olive Oil Festival April 18 at St. Marys High

STOCKTON — St. Mary’s High School and the Pacific Italian Alliance will host the first Annual Italian Olive Oil Festival on the grounds of St. Mary’s High School, 5648 N. El Dorado Street on Sunday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The festival will feature olive oil tasting, casual bocce, focaccia demo, Italian merchandise, bingo raffle, children’s activity corner, vinegar bottling & sampling, sidewalk art, olive pit ppitting Contest, Italian Dancing, wine tasting, a variety of food booths, and much more.

The Golden Olive Branch, honoring the life and work of a local humanitarian with an award and charity donation, will be given to the 2010 Honoree, David Brewer, Director of St. Mary’s Interfaith.  

All proceeds from this event will benefit Student scholarships and the abovementioned charity.

Tickets are $ 7 for adults, $ 3 for students with an ID and free for those less than 10 years. Tickets may be purchased at St. Mary’s High School, Alpine Nursery, Beyond Pots and Pans, Fiore and Cellar Door. For information on purchasing tickets to this event call 209-957-3340, ext. 180.
