Letters to grandchildren class at museum

What would you ask your grandmother if she were still alive? Did you really know that much about her? What do your grandchidren know about you?

If they only know that you make great cookies and somehow gave birth to their mother, then here is your chance to change all that.

Manteca Historical Society is offering a class called “Windows of Your Past” which will allow you to tell your children and grandchildren who you really are. Some classes will focus on your early memories, your home and town, family customs, historical events, a relative who influenced you the most or perhaps your “salad days.”

The class will meet from 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22, at the museum and continue for four sessions. Cost is free to Historical Society members; $15 for non-members.

Space is limited so it is suggested those wishing to attend sign-up as early as possible. To register call Evelyn Prouty, 982-0339.
