Mark Lisa can take credit for leading Tenet’s Doctors Hospital of Manteca on a productive course during his last six years as the chief executive officer of the medical car .

Lisa has been reassigned to the 124-bed Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, California, near San Luis Obispo – also a Tenet hospital.  Doctors has received three Circle of Excellence Awards and prided itself in seeing several medical staffers presented with the prestigious Tenet Hero Awards during his tenure.

Lisa also saw the hiring of the first Chief Nursing Officer as an independent rather than a shared position and the creation of the lauded Breast Imaging Center.  The hospital has also moved to electronic recording of its records in contrast to doctors’ hand written notes and orders.

The addition of 10 medical staffers joining Doctors circle of medical professionals is to Lisa’s credit as well. 

Some 30 staffers attended a casual reception Tuesday afternoon in the hospital conference room in his honor.  A replacement to fill the CEO position has not been announced as yet.

With a medical staff of more than 115, the Templeton hospital serves the communities of the San Luis Obispo County region.  It specializes in maternity care, emergency services, surgery and joint replacements as well as a broad array of medical, surgical and outpatient services.

Twin Cities has received Circle of Excellence Awards for the highest levels of quality, service and operational performance.  Their Critical Care Unit has received the Beacon Award for meeting standards of excellence.

With its sister facility, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, the Tenet hospitals employ more than 1,200 people making Tenet Healthcare Corporation the county’s second largest private employer.
