A request to construct a 16-unit townhouse/condo complex was recently submitted to the City of Ripon’s Department of Planning and Economic Development.
The location of this project would be pn a .94-acre parcel at 126 Gilbert Drive and 154 Gilbert Drive, just east of the Frontage Road near Main Street crossing. The applicant is required to merge the two separate parcels.
The area is currently vacant and is in an area zoned for mixed use.
According to the plans, each two-story townhouse would be 1,305 square foot featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private garage and driveway.
Residents would share a gazebo/BBQ area.
The project is scheduled for an application review at the Jan. 16 Ripon Planning Commission.
All appropriate comments and conditions must be received by the Planning Department no later than 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, in order to be incorporated in the staff report.
