170,300 square feet of mini-storage proposed along Ripon’s Fourth St.

Plans to construct a 170,300 square foot self-storage facility in the heavy industrial district will go before the Ripon Planning Commission in August.

The review period for Liberty Self-Storage at 502 E. Fourth St. opened last week and will continue through July 21.

The City of Ripon Environmental Review officer is recommending a Negative Declaration for this project – at a vacant 7.82-acre parcel at the end of East Fourth Street (just off the newly paved Stockton Avenue along Freeway 99, Planning Director Ken Zuidervaart said at the June 20 planning commission meeting.

Liberty Self-Storage is looking to build a facility at that site.

This includes a 1,000 square foot office space with four parking stall and landscaping to cover 15 percent of the parcel.
