The Almond Blossom Fashion Show will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Calvary Reform Church, 741 Second St. in Ripon.
“This is the favorite among the queen candidates – the (Fashion Show) allows for their personalities to really show,” said Ripon Chamber of Commerce President / CEO Kelly Donohue.
For queen candidates Brooklyn Ballard, Madeline Curtiss, Arabella Hoit, Tiffani Hunter, Kamalpreet Kaur, Emma O’Laughlin, Gabriella Torres, Joyce Wall, Abigail Wilson, and Ziana Zaklan, this is the final of the three events prior to the Feb. 22 Coronation ceremony.
At the ABF Fashion Show, they’ll display the latest wears from local businesses, Faux Glow and August Boutique.
Cost is $10.
Serving as grand marshal for the 62nd annual Almond Blossom Festival is the South San Joaquin Irrigation District, selected for 115 years of service. The theme is “Watering the Roots of Ripon since 1909.”
Representatives from SSJID along with their children will also take part in the Fashion Show. They’ll be wearing the styles as designed by former ABF queen Tawnya Van Houten, who is the owner and operator of Emmrycloth.
