The Blossom Express is back.

The Ripon bus resumed operations after being idle since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last week the Blossom Express was on the road again accompanied with several new health and safety protocols.

According to the City of Ripon, the local bus will continue operating on Tuesdays and Thursdays on a fixed route service.

Stops include the Save Mart Shopping Center and the Ripon Memorial Library, and Modesto to the Vintage Faire Mall and the Target Center.

According to the City of Ripon website (www.cityofripon.org), the Blossom Express can deviate with ¾ mile of the bus stop available upon request.

Some of the bus stops are available to connect to eTrans (Escalon) at Dale Road and Veneman Avenue in Modesto, along with RTD (San Joaquin County) and MAX (Stanislaus County) bus lines.

Blossom Express is equipped with two bike racks – riders are responsible for loading and unloading their bikes – and a Lift Ramp for mobility devices.
