Bos, Templeman lead RC graduates
Ripon Christian High salutatorian
From left, Ripon Christian High salutatorian Alysica Templeman and valedictorian Marika Bos will lead the graduating Class of 2018.

Marika Bos and Alysia Templeman have been best friends since kindergarten.
They’re both products of Ripon Christian Schools.
They’ve been at the RC for the past 13 years, with both excelling in the classroom.
For that, Bos, who will be attending the University of the Pacific — she’s looking to major in Biomedical Engineering — earned top academic honors. She’s valedictorian for Ripon Christian High’s Class of 2018.
Graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 25, beginning at 7 p.m. in the gym.
The daughter of Paul and Leanne Bos, Marika Bos had a 4.4 grade point average.
Templeman, who achieved a 4.14 GPA, is the salutatorian.
She’s the daughter of Elizabeth and Gregory Templeman.
Alysia Templeman is going to William Jessup University in Rocklin to study Business or Graphic Design.
“I liked (William Jessup) because it’s a small school just like RC,” she said.
Templeman played soccer, ran cross country, and was involved in Art Club and Band at RC.
Bos was president of the Art Club. She also participated in the Knightingales, Robotic Club and the RC girls golf program.
She and Templeman will soon be leaving the familiar surrounding of RC. So, it’s no surprise that they’ll miss their many friends and teachers, including Art instructor Lindsey Lazwell.
“She’s been wonderful,” said Bos of the first-year teacher.
She added: “It’s truly been a blessing to be here (at RC).”
