The Christmas Guardian Angels Scrolls will become soon be available.
Laura Saunders, who is the Executive Director for Ray of Hope Children’s Services, said Wednesday that wish-list holiday scrolls will be available to the public at several participating businesses on the week before Thanksgiving, which falls on Nov. 27.
The annual program will once again provide Christmas wishes to needy youngsters.
For local businesses, community members, and others, this is an opportunity for them to provide one, two, or even three wishes to Ray of Hope children – each wish-list scroll will contain three items.
Electronic wish-list scrolls will be available for the first time at www.givinghope@rayofhopechrildrensservices.org, Saunders added.
She noted that food gift cards are also needed to help feed children in the program.
Scrolls for the Christmas Guardian Angels can be picked up, locally, at Dutch Bros, Lucy Moreno Insurance, Collective Hair Salon, Chit Chat Café, Starbucks, Peace Love Shave Ice, and Chick-fil-A.
All gift items can be dropped off by Dec. 10 at the Ray of Hope Corporate Office at 113 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, or at the following authorized location:
- Manteca Police Department, 1001 W. Center St.
- Manteca Fire Department headquarters, 1154 S. Union Rd.
Ray of Hope gets those are referrals from agencies such as the San Joaquin County Child Protective Services, Child Abuse Protection Council, and Human Service Agency, to name a few.
