DJ’s Restaurant & Tap House hosts successful United Way breakfast

The Manteca United Way Community Council conducted its annual flapjack breakfast on Saturday at DJ’s Restaurant & Tap House.

The Manteca United Way Community Council’s annual flapjack breakfast took place at DJ’s Restaurant and Tap House at Orchard Valley.

It marked the post-pandemic return of the annual flapjack breakfast along with their partnership with DJ — the owner of DJ’s Restaurant that always donates all the food, the restaurant and employee help to make the event be successful.

DJ is also long-time supporter in donations to the United Way Community Council’s annual Wine, Chocolate and Art event coming up on Sept 14.

He also donates food to the Night of Giving when the community council gives the donations back to local non-profits.

The council We sold over 1,500 stuffed Easter Eggs that was filled with chocolate donated by Lindt & Ghirardelli Chocolate and if you are lucky a winning number to one of the beautiful baskets.

The UW Community was on Saturday also helped celebrate the name change with DJ from formerly Pete’s Restaurant & Brewhouse to DJ’s Restaurant & Tap House.
