An Easter tradition that typically attracts upwards of 800 youths is returning next month with COVID-19 modifications.

The Manteca Kiwanis free community Easter “egg hunt “is taking place Saturday, April 3, starting at 10 a.m. at Woodward Park at the passenger drop-off zone by the picnic shelter.

In lieu of the mad scramble for thousands of plastic colored eggs filled with candy, those dropping by will receive bags holding candy filled eggs.

The Easter Bunny will be on hand for the event that will go until supplies run out.

COVID-19 protocols will be followed will be followed on Saturday.
