The coolest place in Manteca Friday evening could be at Woodward Park.

That’s when the Manteca Parks & Recreation Department presents the second free film in the summer Movies in the Park series.

The family-orientated event includes snack vendors, food trucks, as well as information booths manned by various organizations starts at 7 p.m. The featured movie “Hotel Transylvania 3” starts at dusk.

Food trucks and snack vendors include Tonantzin Taco Truck, Cupcake Lady. Craftique/Glitter Cotton Candy, Star Frutas Truck, Aloha Counter Food Truck, La Amargadas Lemonade Truck, Camino Dogs, and  Rita’s Italian Ice & Custard Truck.

Community organizations scheduled to be in attendance are About Face (face painting), Boys & Girls Clubs, Manteca Library, Manteca Raiders, Funtastic Gymnastics, Primerica, Manteca Unified Nutrition Services, Wellness Center of San Joaquin, Manteca Youth Focus, Rising Sun Center of Opportunity and Health Plan of San Joaquin.

The third and final movie is “Space Jam”. It will be presented with a similar format on Friday, Aug. 23, at Northgate Park.
