It’s “Almost, Maine.”
That’s the title of the John Cariani romantic comedy consisting of nine short plays of the mythical almost-town called Almost, Maine on March 6-7.
“It’s about love lost and found, and hearts broken and mended,” said LHS English teacher Hillary Pangburn, who is making her directorial debut. “(Almost, Maine) is about love, but not quite.”
The LHS Performing Arts Theatre is located 647 Spartan Wy.
Opening night for “Almost, Maine” is 7 o’clock on Friday, March 6, with two performances on Saturday, March 7, beginning with a 2 p.m. matinee and a 7 p.m. encore.
Cost is $8 for adults, $6 for students, $5 for students with ASB cards, and can be purchased at the door.
Pangburn has about 25 students involved in the LHS Centre Stage Theatre production, which she referred to as a “series of vignettes.”
