The Lathrop Police Department is searching for a missing 15-year-old girl.

Police posted Tuesday via social media that Sophia Del Toro was last seen at about 8:10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15.

She was dopped off at Lathrop High.

Police said that De Toro did not attend school that day nor did she return home.

Sophia Del Toro is described as being about 5-2 tall, 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black zip-up jacket, baggy blue jeans, and toting a Super Mario Toad backpack.

Del Toro also has a lip piercing and tattoo of a marijuana plant on the top of her left hand.
