Police have been able to contact the men they have believe to be responsible for fighting with the man, and have gotten statements from them, but have been unable to contact the person believed to be the victim. They are searching for any information that the public may have about the identity of the person who was attacked during the altercation for direction on whether the forward the matter on to the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s office for prosecution.

According to Acting Lathrop Police Chief Ryan Biedermann, the video was shared with officials at Lathrop High School that have confirmed that none of the people pictured are students at the school.
